Accessing Edfinity in Canvas
Edfinity is an online homework and testing platform.
How to Enroll in an Edfinity Course
Your first time opening Edfinity from Canvas, you'll be invited to enroll in a connected Edfinity course. This requires purchasing a temporary content license by making a direct payment or entering an access code:
- Direct payment: Pay Edfinity directly on the course enrollment web page using a debit/credit card.
- Access code: Bookstore purchases, which may be required as documentation for some financial aid and scholarships, provide an access code that can be used for course enrollment as proof of indirect payment. How to Purchase a License and Request a Refund
A purchased license provides 5 months of access to a single Edfinity course. There is a 2-week grace period—from the date of purchase—during which you may drop enrollment in an Edfinity course and receive a refund (less processing fees). Additional guidance is provided on the following page:

How to Open Edfinity Assignments
The following steps should be used to access Edfinity:
- Log in to MyASU ( https://my.asu.edu )
- Open the Canvas course by clicking the related hyperlink from your list of courses
- Open "Edfinity" from the Course Navigation menu on the left-side of your Canvas course
- Edfinity will open in a new browser tab—navigate to the desired assignment from the list.
Note: No Edfinity account creation or separate login is required. If you see a login screen, start again from MyASU. If you continue to see a login screen when opening Edfinity from Canvas, contact
