Alcohol Possession and Use is Prohibited on Campus

« Go Back
Information

Students are expected to contribute to an Arizona State University community that supports academic success, personal growth, and a safe, respectful, and productive living environment.

Arizona State University is a drug-free campus. The possession, use, or consumption of alcohol is prohibited in all University Housing communities, regardless of a student's age. The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs and the misuse of prescription medications are also prohibited.

If you are found in possession of alcohol or other drugs, the incident will be documented and referred to the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities for review. Outcomes may range from completing an educational intervention to removal from University Housing, depending on the circumstances.

As members of the ASU community, all students are responsible for understanding and complying with university expectations. Before moving into University Housing, you are expected to review both the Student Code of Conduct and the University Housing Policies.
