Functional GroupLibrary Resources
Information
ASU alumni, like other guests, may visit any of the ASU Libraries and use materials (print, microfilm, online or whatever physical format) from within the library building. To access online material, guests need to register at the information desk to use one of the designated "public access" computers where available OR bring in their own laptop/tablet and connect to the ASU guest wireless network and access the library's online material from that device.

Guests who would like to be able to check out books need to purchase a Community Borrowers Card. More information about the card is available online at http://lib.asu.edu/policies/communityloan and http://lib.asu.edu/policies/communityloan/eligibility.

Only currently enrolled students in credit-earning courses and faculty/staff are allowed to access ASU Libraries' online material from off-campus. Off-campus access for all other users is prohibited by contractual agreements with the database and journal providers that stipulate only access from within an ASU library is permitted for guest users. This is explained in more detail at http://lib.asu.edu/policies/remote-access.

If you are not able to visit an ASU campus to access library resources, you may still be able to obtain the information you need through another local library. Your local public library may be able to obtain articles for you via their Interlibrary Loan service, or you may live close to another college/university library that also allows guest access to online resources.
