Can I Put My Parking Permit in a Rental Car?Unfortunately, no you cannot put your permit in your rental car unless that vehicle is on a long-term lease - six months or more and a copy of the lease must be provided to the Parking and Transportation office. Please visit or contact your
campus PTS office for instruction on adding a temporary vehicle to your
parking permit.
Why Can't I Move My Permit to Display in a Rental Car?Any vehicle in which your permit will be displayed must first be registered with PTS through your parking account. If you register a rental car to your account, then future citations issued to that rental car by other drivers could be placed to your account.
