Information
ASU grades may only be replaced by ASU courses. ASU allows for students to repeat up to twelve credit hours for grade replacement purposes in calculating the GPA. After twelve hours, the grades will be averaged for GPA purposes.

Students may take courses at a community college to meet ASU degree requirements, however if the course was initially completed at ASU, the ASU grade will be used for GPA calculation purposes. If a student completes the course at another institution and receives a "C" or better grade, the course may not be repeated at ASU for GPA calculation purposes , however the community college course may be used to fulfill ASU degree requirements.

Visit the ASU Transfer Credit Guide for more information.
