The
ASU College Attainment Grant Program is ASU’s commitment to low-income families in Arizona. This program covers resident tuition and fees for up to four years (i.e., eight, full-time, consecutive fall and spring semesters, excluding summer) using a combination of federal, state, institutional, and private grants and scholarships. Special class fees and study abroad program fees are not covered by the CAG Program.
To automatically be considered for the 2020-2021 year, you must meet all of the following:
- be an Arizona resident for tuition purposes
- be a new, full-time freshman entering immediately after your Arizona high school graduation
- be a degree-seeking student (excluding online degree programs)
- have a complete ASU admission application on file (application, test scores, transcripts and application fee) by July 1, 2020
- submit a 2020-2021 FAFSA by July 1, 2020
- submit all requested documents for financial aid verification by Aug. 1, 2020
- be Federal Pell Grant eligible
Renewal criteria includes:
- completing 24 ASU credit hours by the end of each academic year
- have an ASU cumulative GPA of 2.50 or higher
- renew your FAFSA by Jan. 1 and resolve any errors by March 1
- continue to be Federal Pell Grant eligible
- submit all requested documents for financial aid verification by July 1
- maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
- abide by the Student Code of Conduct
