Functional GroupTechnical Resources: Other Support
Information
ASU provides computing sites on all campuses for you to use.  These sites provide computers and printers in a clean quiet environment.

Please review these usage guidelines for ASU's computing sites:

Acceptable Use
Usage of computing site resources must be in accordance with established ASU Computer, Internet, and Electronic Communications Policy.

Food, Drink, and Chewing Tobacco are Not Permitted
Please help maintain our facilities by not bringing these items into the computing sites. Sealed water bottles are the only beverage containers allowed. Any other food or beverage must be kept inside another container such as a bookbag.

Printing
ASU and Canon have a strategic partnership to provide printing services to the ASU community. ASU Sun Card holders may print, copy, and scan in the computing sites, then swipe their Sun Card to release their print jobs. Once print jobs are released the account holder of that card will be charged in their My ASU account. Charges may be paid within the Finance Tab of My ASU.

Canon offers print quality free of streaks, wrinkles, and other blemishes. If the print quality is below this standard, please visit the nearest computing site to complete a Canon refund form. Common Computing can no longer reprint files, please contact Canon and the Digital PrintU at printcpc.com for refunds for reprinting.

Canon provides 20 lb. stock 8.5″ x 11″ and 11″ x 17″ white paper.  If you would like to print to a different size paper, transparency film or other media, please ask for assistance from a computing site attendant.  User supplied media must be verified against the specifications of the printers to avoid damage. You will be charged the same per sheet fee as if you were using the Canon supplied paper.

Game Playing Prohibited
Computing site workstations are for academic use. Game playing is prohibited.

Maintain a Library Atmosphere
If you are working with a group of people, team work areas are available by reservation. If you need to use a cellular phone, please leave the computing site area.

Unattended Equipment
Computers left unattended for more than 15 minutes will be made available to waiting customers.

Computing Sites Teamwork Facilities (Tempe)
Each Computing Site has designated facilities for teamwork which are available on a reservation basis during regular computing site hours as indicated on the current schedule. Computing Commons Atrium (CPCOM 102) hosts five workrooms. All five are equipped with a Flat Screen TV with VGA cable for laptop connection and Dry Erase board. These separate rooms can accommodate groups of two to four.

Coor Computing Commons (COOR 150) hosts four workrooms. All four are equipped with PCs, a Walltalker Dry Erase wall, and a video projector. These separate rooms can accommodate groups of two to six.
