Do Barrett, The Honors College Students Incur Additional Costs?

Barrett, The Honors College provides an exemplary education and unique honors experience for ASU undergraduate students at an affordable cost. ASU students who are enrolled in Barrett pay the same university tuition as non-honors students in their degree program, but have an additional fall and spring semester honors college fee.



  • The Barrett fee is $1,100/semester for immersion students attending the ASU Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe or West Valley campuses. *



  • The Barrett fee for Online students is $122 per credit hour with a maximum of $1,098/semester, aligning with the cost for in-person honors college students. **

**The Barrett Honors College online fee displayed is for students admitted in fall 2025 or later.

Room and board costs are not standardized at ASU, meaning these expenses vary depending on residential community and meal plan.
