« Go Back
Information
No. Applying for graduation and paying your fee only ensures the processing of your degree once all required coursework has been completed.

In order to RSVP for a commencement or convocation ceremony and ensure seating is available for you and your guests, you must take the following additional steps after successfully applying for graduation:
  1. Log in to My ASU.
  2. Locate the My Programs box.
  3. Click on the RSVP Ceremonies link.
  4. Click the link under the Graduation tab for the ceremonies you wish to attend.
  5. Complete the RSVP form.
  6. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page after completing the RSVP form. Failure to properly submit the form will result in your RSVP not being recorded.
You will receive confirmation via email after you have successfully submitted an RSVP form for each ceremony.

Please visit the RSVP to Attend a Ceremony website for additional information on the RSVP process and deadlines.
