An Enrollment Hold is placed on a student’s account when the student has a past-due balance of $3,000.01 or more and prevents the student from adding courses or enrolling in future terms. Students with an Enrollment Hold will see “Enrollment Hold” in the Financing Tasks box in My ASU > Finances. Students can review the balance associated with the Enrollment Hold in the Charge Summary box and select the dropdown arrow to view the charge description, term, due date, and amount. The Enrollment Hold is automatically removed within 12 hours after financial aid or a payment reduces the student’s past-due balance to $3,000.00 or less. Once the Enrollment Hold is removed, the student can register for courses if no other holds prevent enrollment. An Enrollment Hold does not cause ASU to drop a student from courses in which they are already enrolled; it prevents the student from adding courses or enrolling in future terms while the Enrollment Hold is active.
Students can make payments on My ASU > Finances and select "Pay Bill" in the Charge summary box. Students will be redirected to QuikPAY in which they can pay with eCheck (free of charge), debit or credit card (2.5% processing fee), international debit or credit card (4.25% processing fee).
