Full-Time and Half-Time Status for Enrollment Verification Purposes

Full-time or half-time status for enrollment verification purposes is determined by:

1. the number of credits in which you are enrolled in a given term, and 
2. whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student.

Fall & Spring Semesters

Full time	12+ credit hours	9+ credit hours
3/4 time	9 – 11 credit hours	7 – 8 credit hours
Half time	6 – 8 credit hours	5 – 6 credit hours
Less than half time	1 – 5 credit hours	1 – 4 credit hours

Summer Sessions

Status	Undergraduate Student	Graduate & Law Student
Full time	4+ credit hours	3+ credit hours
Half time	2 – 3 credit hours	2 credit hours
Less than half time	1 credit hour	1 credit hour
