ASU continues to cooperate with public health agencies, who are assembling comprehensive information regarding positive test results and related information and providing tracking information to the public. Following is a link to the ADHS website that contains its tracking information, including positive cases by the ZIP codes where ASU campuses are located: https://www.azdhs.gov/preparedness/epidemiology-disease-control/infectious-disease-epidemiology/covid-19/dashboards/index.php.

With four ASU campuses across the Valley and with students and employees living throughout the Phoenix metro area, we encourage people to continue monitoring the ZIP code case counts in the areas where they live and work. ASU will provide regular updates about the number of cases among its distributed population of students and employees on its COVID-19 management framework strategy site.

Individuals within our campus community also have a responsibility to follow all public health guidelines at work, in class and at home to minimize risk for themselves and to help prevent the spread of the virus.

Any member of the ASU community who shows symptoms of COVID-19 is required to self-isolate upon showing symptoms. Individuals showing symptoms of COVID-19 should not wait until they are tested or receive test results to begin self-isolating. Individuals who have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 should also self-isolate.

Regardless of where the individual lives, the health care protocol is the same for anyone who has tested positive: self-isolation for the period of time necessary per Maricopa County Health Department guidance (currently 10 days plus no symptoms for three days), regular (remote) health screenings, no-contact food delivery, and (remote) personal and emotional support. Students should contact ASU Health Services at 480-965-3349 for more information and assistance. Employees should contact their supervisor, who will work with the Employee Wellness Exposure Management team to provide information and assistance.

More information about how ASU has prepared the campus to operate during the pandemic can be found at https://www.asu.edu/about/fall-2020 and https://cfo.asu.edu/Covid-19-guide.
