ETS offers a limited number of GRE Fee Reduction Certificates on a first-come, first-served basis if you are a college senior, a graduate student who is not currently enrolled, or if you are unemployed and meet certain eligibility requirements. Please visit the
GRE Fee Reduction Program webpage for eligibility requirements.
Beginning on July 1, 2018, the new GRE Fee Reduction process will become effective. The new process requires you (the student) to send a copy of your Student Aid Report (generally emailed to you from the Department of Education after your FAFSA was processed) and a completed GRE Fee Reduction Request Form to ETS. If selected, you will receive a GRE Fee Reduction Voucher to take the General Test and/or a Subject Test for 50 percent of the full test fee.
If you have any questions, please contact GRE Institutional Services at GRE_Fee_Reduction@ets.org or 1-609-771-7092.
You can register to take the GRE at the
University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness.
