If you have not already done so, you should first
apply to Arizona State University. Within 2-3 days of submitting your university application, you will receive an ASURITE ID and Password that will allow you to begin the separate, free, Barrett application. As a prospective honors college student, be mindful of when you may be considered for admission. (As one example, current ASU students with fewer than four fall/spring semesters remaining are not eligible for Barrett enrollment.)
Please review the following before starting a Barrett application:
- There are two different Barrett Honors enrollment options called Lower Division and Upper Division. Be sure to confirm which is right for you.
- Prospective students may apply only once to Barrett for any given semester.
- The Barrett Honors College experience is only available to ASU students at the Downtown, Polytechnic, Tempe, and West campuses.
- High school seniors who are not extended an offer of admission are encouraged to attend ASU and may reapply to Barrett for a later semester.
- For a Barrett application to be evaluated in a specific pool, it must be complete by the articulated deadline date, not simply submitted. Incomplete application files are remanded to the next pool for review.
