How do I cancel or resend a letter of recommendation through Scholarship Universe?
Access Scholarship Universe and navigate to My Docs.

After a letter of recommendation is requested, the request displays on the My Documents page as Pending. You can edit the letter of recommendation when it's in a pending status.
When the requestee provides a letter of recommendation, the document no longer displays as pending in the list of documents.
If the requestee declines to provide a letter of recommendation, the document is removed from the list of documents.
Click on the Edit button for a letter of recommendation document to view the following:
- Requestee Name: This is the name of the person you requested the letter of recommendation from
- Requestee Email Address: This is the email address you entered for the requestee
- Status: The current status of the letter of recommendation request:
- Completed: The requestee has provided a letter of recommendation.
- Pending: The requestee has not yet responded to the letter of recommendation request.
- Expired: The requestee did not complete the request on time.
- Cancelled: You canceled the letter of recommendation request.
- Deadline: The deadline set for the requestee to respond to the letter of recommendation request.
- If the letter of recommendation is in a Pending Status,, you can take the following actions:
- Resend: resend the request to the requestee.
- Replace Request: Opens the Replace Request modal so you can request a new letter of recommendation from another reference. The replace request cancels the recurring emails and sends a canceled request email to the requestee.
- Rescind Request: You can cancel the requested Letter of Recommendation. The cancellation request cancels the reoccurring emails and sends a cancellation request email to the requestee.
