If you would like to change the loan amount accepted, watch this video for instructions or follow the steps below for the loan you wish to change:

Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized) or Perkins Loan

Submit a Student Loan Adjustment eForm or submit a written request in-person or by fax to Financial Aid and Scholarship Services. Include your ASU ID number, the loan type and the specific amount you want to accept for the academic year, and your signature.

Parent PLUS Loan

In order to decrease or cancel a Parent PLUS Loan, you will submit the Parent PLUS Loan Action Request form to Financial Aid and Scholarship Services. This will then create a task on your parent's My ASU Guest Access account; the task can be submitted to make adjustments.
In order to increase a Parent PLUS Loan, you can contact the financial aid office. Access 24/7 live chat, create a case from My ASU Service Center or call 855-278-5080.

Private Loan

To decrease, cancel, or change the allocation of a private loan, send an email to fass@asu.edu. Please be specific in terms of what changes you are requesting.
To increase a private loan, you will need to apply for a new loan through your lender.
