To declare a major within the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA), you can submit an online major change request on the ASU website. Select "Change My Major" and follow the questions asked. It usually takes 24-48 hours to process the major change (if accepted).
An advising hold will be placed once the major change has been processed. To clear the hold, you will need to schedule an advising appointment. You have three options for scheduling an appointment:
- Call our CISA front desk at 480-965-4464 (M-F 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (Arizona time)
- If you are a current CISA student, use the online scheduling feature found at MyASU > Academic Support Team > Academic Advising > Schedule an Appointment > 1 hour New/Recent Major Change Appointment
- Visit our CISA advising website at https://cisa.asu.edu/advising. You are not assigned a specific advisor and so can meet with the first available advisor who works with students in your designated major.
