How Do I Display My Parking Permit?

« Go Back
Information
Make sure your hangtag permit is facing outward from the rearview mirror and can easily be read. If your permit will not hang from your rearview mirror for any reason, it should be placed on the driver's side dashboard in a visible location.

ASU also uses virtual parking permits, meaning your license plate is your permit and no physical decal is required. For virtual permits you must register your vehicle's license plate in your ASU Transportation Account and must face the drive aisle. Multiple vehicles can be linked, but only one cam park on campus at a time to avoid citations.

Please note: Displaying a permit turned inward (i.e. the front of the permit is facing the interior of the vehicle) or backing in without a front license plate may result in you receiving a citation.
