To request an override for a College of Letters and Sciences course, complete the form on the CLS website:
https://cls.asu.edu/override_policies. At the bottom of the form, in the field where you explain why you are requesting an override, include the error message you are getting when you try to register for the course. If you have taken, or are taking, the prerequisite course at another institution, please attach an unofficial copy of the transcript, or a screen shot or snapshot verifying your enrollment and/or passing grade from that institution.
Requests to lift the reserve on classes with seats reserved for Downtown Phoenix or Polytechnic campus majors will not be considered. Reserves are lifted automatically two weeks prior to the start of term and any remaining seats will be available for enrollment.
