Your tuition charges, and if applicable, meal plans and most residence hall charges will appear on
My ASU under the
Finances tab about one to two months before the semester begins.
Please note: Residence hall charges that are billed through a non-university entity (such as 922 Place and other off-campus apartments) are not automatically billed to your ASU account, therefore are not able to be paid with your financial aid. Consult with your leasing office on how to pay these charges with your financial aid refund.
- Financial aid disbursement will begin no sooner than a few days before the start of each semester. If your credited aid is in excess of your university charges, you will receive a financial aid for the difference either by direct deposit to your bank account or by check. If you do not enroll in direct deposit, any refund owed will be mailed to you no sooner than a few days before the start of the semester.
- If your charges are greater than your financial aid, you will owe the difference to ASU by the applicable due date. Or, if your financial aid disburses before all of your charges are posted, you will need to use any refund received to pay the new charges on your student account by the applicable due date.
View your charges and your financial aid awards by logging into
My ASU and select the
Finances tab. We recommend that you review the
Tuition and billing calendar to assist you with payment deadlines.
