How do I pursue a concurrent degree as a Thunderbird undergraduate student?

« Go Back
Information

Thunderbird allows students to request approval to pursue a concurrent degree through the university approval process. A minimum of 30 distinct credit hours must be taken for each degree program, and degree combinations with significant curricular overlap might not be approved. For example, students can’t major in both the BGM in global management and the BS in international trade.

If you’re interested in applying for a concurrent degree, please schedule an appointment with your academic success advisor about the feasibility of a concurrent degree. You must also must meet the following criteria:

  • have attained sophomore standing or higher

  • have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00

  • have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework in the first major

  • follow approval criteria procedures for both colleges
