Information
If you have been away from ASU for fewer than seven consecutive Fall or Spring semesters, you could be eligible for quick re-entry. If you have not enrolled at ASU for eight or more semesters or have completed your academic program or were academically disqualified, you must apply for readmission and submit applicable fees.

Upon your return, connect with a CISA advisor to discuss your degree progress and goals. In most cases, you may wish to remain in your prior ASU major, if your goals or circumstances have changed, your advisor may provide additional degree options for completion.   Over time, degree requirements may change.  If this is the case with your degree program, your advisor recommend additional steps to retain your prior catalog year.

To schedule an academic advising appointment
  1. Call our CISA front desk at 480-965-4464 (M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (Arizona Time)
  2. If you are a current CISA student, use the online scheduling feature found at MyASU > Academic Support Team > Academic Advising > Schedule an Appointment
  3. Visit our CISA advising website at https://cisa.asu.edu/advising. You are not assigned a specific advisor and can meet with the first available advisor for your designated major.
If you have completed any coursework outside of ASU while away, please review the following information about transfer credits and submitting final official transcripts to ASU admissions:

The Transfer Guide (TG) tool provides additional information regarding transferability of courses taken at other institutions. ASU will accept a maximum of 64 credits from a two-year college. Transfer coursework does not impact ASU GPA. For more information about transferring credits to ASU, please visit: https://admission.asu.edu/transfer/transferring-credits
  • You can check to see how credits from any college or university transfer to ASU on the Transfer Guide Course Search
  • You can also see how credits taken at any Arizona Community College transfer to ASU on the AZ Transfer guide
Have your official transcripts sent to ASU once all transfer grades are posted. You can track the receipt of your transfer credits through your MyASU.  Just navigate to:  My Classes box > grades and transcripts > transcripts and test scores > transfer credit report.

Please have your official transcripts mailed to:
