How Do I Transfer My Financial Aid to Another School?

« Go Back
Information
Financial aid does not directly transfer between colleges. Instead, your new college will need your FAFSA and possibly other documentation to calculate your financial aid eligibility at your new school.

To begin the process, please follow the steps below:
  1. Submit the Student Aid Adjustment & Return of Financial Aid Funds form to ASU Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.
  2. Update your already completed FASFA with your new school's FAFSA code by logging in to the FAFSA website and selecting Make FAFSA Corrections.
  3. You will need to work with the financial aid office at your new school to complete your financial aid file and be offered financial aid at the new school.
