Transfer courses are evaluated to determine their equivalency to ASU courses. Courses may receive an evaluation from one of the following:
- Direct Equivalency
- Departmental Elective
- Elective
- Non-Transferable
Please note: Not all courses will transfer or apply to every major. You must see your academic advisor for additional information about transferring credit to your chosen major. Your advisor information can be found through

You can view how your transfer courses are currently fulfilling your degree requirements by running your Degree Audit (DARS) or by viewing your major map progress that is updated in real time. These tools can both be found in your MyASU portal home page.
