Information
While ASU Online is designed for learners seeking an entirely online college experience, ASU Sync allows you to continue progress in any major offered to on-campus students while having the flexibility of attending classes remotely. Additionally, when learning in ASU Sync, students will be learning simultaneously alongside classmates who are attending class in-person while other classmates are attending via Zoom.

Students who are enrolled in an ASU Online degree experience ASU entirely through digital instruction, projects and assessment. The class is managed through Canvas and the content is optimized for online delivery, with much of the class designed to be taken on a student’s schedule, or asynchronously. In ASU Online classes, all students enrolled in the class are learning remotely.

ASU Sync provides students “real-time” remote access to a class that is taught on-campus. The content is optimized to allow for flexibility for some students to join remotely for a number of circumstances, while others attend in-person. Most classes include live faculty lectures and instruction with real-time class collaboration.
