On average, the prerequisites for the Downtown Phoenix Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) program can take approximately 2 years to complete. Once the prerequisites have been completed, the Medical Laboratory Science core courses can take about 16 months to complete. Students will begin taking core classes in January after admission into the Downtown Phoenix program and will take courses straight through until May of the second year.
