How Much Does a Federal Work Study Job Pay?

« Go Back
Information

Student employment offers a wide range of positions, which require different degrees of skill, experience and competence. Federal Work Study and hourly employment share the same wage levels and pay ranges. Wage placement must be in relation to type of duties performed and in consideration of other student employee wage rates across similar type jobs.

Visit the Student Employment website or the our wage levels with different pay ranges located under the Standard Wage Scale section.

It is important to remember that Federal Work Study does not mean getting an award on top of your paycheck; the award is a part of each paycheck you receive. If two positions offer the same pay, with one being Federal Work Study and one being hourly, there is no difference in income from the positions.
