How to Install the Print Anywhere Printer on Your Personal Laptop

With Print Anywhere Laptop Printing, you can print from your personal Mac or Windows laptop to any Print Anywhere device on campus. When a print job is sent from your laptop, it will remain in the print queue for two hours to be retrieved at a device by using the card swipe.

Windows Installation Instructions

To install the Print Anywhere for Windows, perform the following steps:

1. First determine whether you have a 32 or 64-bit Operating System (OS). If you need help determining, please visit How to determine 32-bit or 64-bit Windows operating systems.
2. Go to Print Anywhere for laptop printing.
3. Next, select the appropriate Windows driver for your OS and the campus which you are located at as shown below:

       

4. Now, the ASU Print Package download page appears, displaying your install download file. Click Download 
5. Once the download is complete, locate and click the download exe file.
   Note: If a security warning popup prompts, click Run or Allow.
6. The ASU Print Package installer window appears, displaying your installation steps. Click Install.
7. When the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the installer.

Mac Installation Instructions

To install the Print Anywhere for Mac OS X, perform the following steps:

1. Go to Print Anywhere for laptop printing.
2. If you are on the ASU Tempe Campus, select Mac: ASUPrintPackageTempe.dmg. For other ASU campuses, select Mac: ASUPrintPackageOther.dmg as shown below:

         

3. The ASU Print Package page appears, displaying the Print Anywhere download package. Click Download.
4. Once the download is complete in your web browser or download location, click the download package to open the file.
5. In the download package file, click the file Popup.pkg to begin installation.
6. The Install Pharos Popus Client installer window appears, displaying your installation steps. Please review the Introduction and Read Me information and click Continue.
7. Select your installation on the Standard Install on "Macintosh HD" form. For a standard installation, click Install. 
8. If you are prompted to enter your laptop password, type it into the provided field and click Continue.
9. Once your installation is complete, click Close to exit the Pharos Popup Client installer.
