Most lower-division transfer coursework is evaluated by the Academic Transfer Credit Solutions department according to criteria established by ASU faculty.
Upper-division coursework, and some highly complex or specialized lower-division coursework, is evaluated by ASU faculty. Faculty review can begin when you submit a complete and detailed syllabus to the
Transfer Guide.
Transfer courses will be assigned one of the following evaluations:
- Direct equivalency
- Department elective
- Elective credit
- Non-transferable
