I Am a Sponsored Student. How Do I Request to Change My Program/Major After Receiving Sponsor Approval?

Information
After you have received approval from your sponsor to change your major, please follow the steps below:
  1. Contact your academic advisor to request a change to your major or submit a request to change online at changingmajors.asu.edu.
  2. Once your major change has been finalized, notify the International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC) of your updated major via an email to sponsored@asu.edu.
  3. If you are issued one, submit a financial guarantee by email to sponsored@asu.edu.
A new I-20 reflecting your updated major will be processed and issued to you within seven business days. You will be notified via your ASU email account when your new I-20 is ready.
