I am a Post Baccalaureate Nursing Student, do I Qualify for any Grant Aid?

Information
As a post-baccalaureate student, you are not eligible for the Federal Pell Grant or the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant. The Federal Pell Grant and FSEOG are only available to eligible undergraduate students obtaining their first bachelor’s degree. However, ASU has some limited institutional grant funding for post-baccalaureate nursing students.

To be considered, you must have a FAFSA on file with ASU and demonstrate significant financial need. Since funds are limited, priority consideration is given to students who file the FAFSA by January 15 and submit all requested documents listed on My ASU within a few weeks of being posted.

Please note the following:
  • Receiving a grant in a prior year does not guarantee future grant offers. Your eligibility is evaluated each year based on the information included on your FAFSA, as well as available funding at the time you are offered financial aid.
  • All grant aid is based on full-time enrollment. If you receive any grant aid and enroll for less than 12 credit hours as of your census date, your grant will be prorated.
