I'm registered with SAILS, how does this impact my Scholarships?

Information

Students who have accommodations approved by the Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services office may be eligible to receive their merit scholarships while attending part-time. Learn more about this option on the Student Accessibility and Inclusive Learning Services website.

Students meets with their Accessibility Consultants to confirm that students with verified accommodations can lower their credit hours per semester and still meet the requirements for ASU scholarship renewal:

For need-based awards: students may take less than 12 hours per term.

For merit-based awards: students may take less than 15 hours per term.

Students are still expected to maintain a cumulative GPA:
For need-based awards: minimum 2.5 GPA.
For merit-based awards: minimum 3.0 GPA.

Earn to Learn

Institutional Grants

ASU Merit-based Scholarships (also known as NAMU):

National Merit and National Recognition

ASU Flinn Semi-Finalist Award

Leadership Scholarship Program

President

Provost’s (Distinction)

Dean’s (Distinction)

University

Academic Achievement

Polytechnic or West Valley Campus

RaiseMe and other supplemental awards (e.g., Living & Learning, Sun Devil State)

Arizona Academic Decathlon Finalist and Top Score

Note: This form does NOT apply to external private or tribal donors, corporate/online, or other ASU departmental awards. Students must contact their donor to confirm they are meeting requirements.

Important: This form does NOT apply to federal grants or loans
