Information
You are encouraged to pursue one of the following options to get back on track with the university:
  • While in disqualified status you may enroll in ASU Summer session courses to raise your cumulative ASU GPA above a 2.0. This strategy will most quickly impact your ASU GPA. Meet with a CISA academic advisor to identify appropriate courses and to discuss success strategies.
    • If you achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher after your Summer grades post, reconnect with a CISA academic advisor to request that your disqualification status be removed, thus enabling you to register for the Fall semester.
    • If you are unable to achieve a cumulative ASU GPA of 2.0 or higher after Summer grades post, follow the readmission eligibility process below.
  • To be eligible for readmission to ASU, complete 12 credits of transferable coursework from a community college, ASU Summer session, or another university, with a 2.5 or higher GPA and no grade lower than a C. Be sure to meet with a CISA academic advisor to identify appropriate courses and review the repeat/replace policy prior to repeating courses at other institutions. You want to be sure not to repeat any courses at other institutions that you have previously taken at ASU, because you may lose an opportunity to repeat and replace prior ASU credits/grades in which you earned “D” or “E” grades.
