Yes! Students in an ASU undergraduate degree program at the Tempe campus may join the honors college.
Barrett students at the ASU Tempe campus live in the honors community for their first two years, unless they enroll through the Upper Division pathway, and many choose to stay all four years to take advantage of the excellent amenities and on-campus convenience. Students enjoy the support and resources similar to a private college tucked within a top research university with outstanding facilities.
The first-year Tempe honors community features classrooms integrated into the residence halls, the Mark Jacobs Dining Hall and refectory, the Burning B Cafe, the Office of National Scholarships Advisement, and Barrett's math and writing centers. Students enjoy mentorship and guidance from Barrett's academic advisors and honors faculty fellows, who have their offices in the complex.
Barrett Tempe students live in the Vista del Sol community, nicknamed Barrett@Vista, their second year and may choose to continue doing so their junior and senior years. Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool, ramada with barbecue grills, and volleyball/basketball courts, with convenient access to the Barrett Student Center. The Vista Community Center features game tables, a spacious gym, and lots of places for students to study.
