My Sites on My ASU uses Google Sites to make it easy to build and access personal or team websites. You can work with with your teammates on a Google Site to add file attachments, information from other Google applications, and add your own content.

Creating a Google Site with My Sites on My ASU is as simple as editing a document, plus, you can control who has access to the website - just you, your team, or the whole ASU community. My Sites also lets you publish your website on the internet, making it available to the world.

Access My Sites

To access My Sites, perform the following steps:

1. Sign in to My ASU.
2. In the My ASU left toolbar, click My Sites.
 
Your My Sites page appears, displaying your My Sites in asu.edu, as well as any Deleted Sites. You can also Browse ASU Google Sites by clicking Browse Sites

3. For Sites Help or to manage your My Sites user settings, click on the gear icon in the upper left of your My Sites page.

Create a Site

To create a site, perform the following steps:

1. From your main My Sites page, click Create.

The Create New Site on asu.edu page appears, displaying options for your to built your site.

2. Select a blank site template by clicking on Blank template or look for more templates by clicking Browse the gallery for more.
3. Type the name of your site in the Name your site field.
4. Verify the auto-generated site URL.
5. Select a theme.
6. If needed, select more options. More options includes a Site categories and description.
7. When complete, click Create.

My Sites Help

To get help for My Sites, perform the following steps:

1. From your main My Sites page, click on the gear icon in the upper left of your My Sites page.
2. Click Sites help.

A list of Sites help articles appear, displaying suggested topics. Click on any of the displayed help articles or click Help Center. Suggested help articles include: Delete a Google Site, Update templates, Edit your Site, Create a Site, and Map your site to your own domain.

3. If you cannot find a help article you need, type your question or topic in the Search box provided.
