Requirements to start the Interdisciplinary Studies major core courses

Information
To start the Interdisciplinary Studies core courses, you must have:
  • Completed the university requirements for First-Year Composition
  • Earned 25 or more credit hours (sophomore standing)
  • Completed two courses for each of your interdisciplinary studies concentrations, with grades of C or better
  • Be in good academic standing (ASU GPA of 2.0 or higher)
  • Completed the General Studies math requirement (usually MAT 142) with a grade of D or higher
After meeting all of these criteria, you may ask your Interdisciplinary Studies advisor to activate your core eligibility.
