Information

The safety and security of ASU students, faculty, staff, and visitors are among the university's highest priorities. University Housing partners with ASU Police, campus partners, and Residential Life team members to help create a safe and supportive living environment.

Residence halls include several security features, such as controlled card access at exterior entrances and Residential Life team members who are available to respond to student needs.

To help maintain a secure community, residents are expected to:

* Keep exterior doors closed and never prop them open.
* Carry your ASU ID to access the residence hall.
* Meet guests at the building entrance and escort them throughout the building at all times.
* Take responsibility for the conduct of their guests while they are in the residence hall.
* Report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or emergencies to Residential Life staff or the ASU Police Department.

Creating a safe community is a shared responsibility, and every resident plays an important role in helping maintain a secure living environment.
