University Housing policies are designed to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive living environment that supports student success. By following these policies, residents help foster a community that promotes learning, personal growth, and a positive residential experience.
As a resident, you are responsible for understanding and complying with all **University Housing policies** and the **Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) Student Code of Conduct**. Before moving into your residence hall, take time to review these policies so you are familiar with your rights, responsibilities, and community expectations.
Residents are also responsible for the behavior of their guests and for activities that occur within their assigned room or living space. You and your guests are expected to comply with the directions of University Housing team members, ASU Police, and emergency personnel while in and around the residence halls.
Failure to comply with University Housing policies or the ABOR Student Code of Conduct may result in action through the university's student conduct process. Depending on the nature of the violation, outcomes may include educational interventions, disciplinary sanctions, or other actions intended to support accountability and community safety.
