What Is the Difference Between the Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability and the Bachelor of Science in Sustainability?

Information
There are three distinct differences between the two degree programs:
  1. The tracks you are able to pursue within each of the degree programs
  • BA: Society and Sustainability, Policy and Governance in Sustainable Systems, International Development and Sustainability, or Sustainable Urban Dynamics
  • BS: Sustainable Energy, Materials, and Technology, The Economics of Sustainability, or Sustainable Ecosystems
  1. The math requirement (BS requires a higher competency level)
  • BA: SOS 101
  • BS: SOS 101, SOS 210, and SOS 211
  1. The second language requirement (BA requires a higher competency level)
  • BA: must complete at least the 202-level of a second language
  • BS: must complete at least the 102-level of a second language
