What Undergraduate Certificates Does the Department of Speech and Hearing Science Offer?

The Department of Speech and Hearing Science offers a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certificate. This program prepares students who have majored or are majoring in Speech and Hearing Science to be eligible for the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Licensure, in order to work as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant under the direction of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
 
The program is designed to be completed during their last two semesters of undergraduate coursework. Students who have completed 15 credits in speech and hearing science coursework with at least a 2.75 grade point average in those courses are eligible to apply. 
 
To apply, please complete the Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Certificate Program application and return to the Undergraduate Advisor in Coor Hall (COOR), room 2204.
