CareerCatalyst Technology Requirements

1. What are the technology requirements?
   1. This is a list of basic computer system requirements to use Canvas, the platform that hosts ASU’s CareerCatalyst courses. It’s always recommended to use the most up-to-date versions of operating systems and have a reliable internet connection. Canvas will still run with the minimum specifications, but you may experience slower loading times.
   2. Canvas and its hosting infrastructure are designed for maximum compatibility and minimal requirements.
   3. Screen Size:-
      1. Canvas is best viewed at a minimum resolution of 800x600. If you want to view Canvas on a device with a smaller screen, we recommend using the Canvas mobile app.
   4. Operating Systems:-
      1. Windows 7 and newer (users on Windows 10 need to download the Windows 10 Anniversary Update to submit Canvas assignments)
      2. Mac OS X 10.6 and newer
      3. Linux - Chromium OS
   5. Mobile Operating System Native App Support:-
      1. iOS 7 and newer (versions vary by device)
      2. Android 4.2 and newer
   6. Computer Speed and Processor:-
      
      1. Use a computer 5 years old or newer when possible
      2. 1GB of RAM
      3. 2GHz processor
