After you complete the checklist for veterans and dependents, you should be fully enrolled in classes, your military education benefits should be either approved or pending approval, and you should have either begun or completed your VA benefits forms with the Pat Tillman Veterans Center.
- If the PTVC needs additional information or documentation, they will contact you with the next steps. Please check your ASU email and My ASU homepage for any priority tasks
Register for a Veterans or Dependents Welcome Event.
- All incoming graduate and undergraduate student veterans and dependents are expected to attend a welcome event before their first semester at ASU. Hosted by ASU and the Pat Tillman Veterans Center, the Welcome Event will introduce you to valuable benefit information and connect you with student success resources both within & outside of ASU.
- If you are a new student, you will receive notifications by mail and email prior to the event so you can RSVP and plan to attend. Events are scheduled before both the fall and spring semesters.
