During your thesis defense you will make a presentation to your thesis committee and answer questions from your committee and possibly any audience members in attendance. After the defense, your committee will consult privately to make a decision about the success of your defense. Then, they will meet with you to determine the outcome of your project and possible follow up steps. Generally your thesis defense will take at least one hour.
