Information
529 Plans (i.e., prepaid tuition plans, college savings plans and Coverdell education savings accounts) are college savings plans sponsored by a state or state agency designed to help families set aside funds for future college costs. Savings can be used for tuition, books and other education-related expenses at most accredited two-and four-year colleges, universities, U.S. vocational-technical schools and eligible foreign institutions.

Each 529 Plan is different and may require you to collect different types of documentation before the funds can be used (i.e., enrollment verification and/or tuition billing statement). Contact your 529 Plan provider to determine what documentation is needed for disbursement.
