Funded by ASU, the University Grant is available in limited amounts each year. It is generally reserved as one of the last grant programs to be used to resolve your unmet need.
You will be given priority consideration if you are:
- An eligible undergraduate student, seeking your first bachelor's degree.
- Completed your FAFSA by January 15 for the following academic year.
- Submit all documents listed in your My ASU Financing Tasks within a few weeks of being requested.
- Demonstrate high financial need.
Please note the following:
- Receiving a University Grant in a prior year does not guarantee future University Grant offers. Your eligibility is evaluated each year based on the information included on your FAFSA, as well as available funding at the time you are offered financial aid.
- All awarded aid is based on full time enrollment. If you receive a University Grant and are enrolled for less than 12 credit hours as of your census date, your grant will be prorated.
- University Grants are generally not offered after you have earned more than 120 credit hours.
