Information
As a student in Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, you will participate in clinical experience, which consists of multiple internships and student teaching. During clinical experience, you will be assigned to preschool through grade 12 classrooms based on the requirements of your iTeachAZ program. The primary goal of clinical experience is to provide you with opportunities to connect what you are learning in your ASU courses to real-world work with P-12 students in Arizona schools.

During each internship, you will intern one to three days per week, based on your specific program requirements, following your classroom teacher’s contract hours. Your student teaching will consist of five full days per week for one or two semesters, depending on your program requirements, following your mentor teacher’s contract hours.

Personal, reliable transportation is required for all clinical experiences.
