What is the ASU Military Active Duty and Reservist Commitment Scholarship?

« Go Back
Information

The Military Active Duty and Reservist Commitment Scholarship is for all online undergraduate students utilizing military Tuition Assistance. It covers the remaining tuition costs per credit hour.

As of the Fall 2025 term, it will require a FAFSA on file. In addition, it will only cover remaining tuition costs after any Pell Grant or other gift aid funding is applied.

If you meet the scholarship requirements, it will be added directly to My ASU once the university receives and processes your TA paperwork at the start of each session. The scholarship posts after the add deadline for the session has passed.

This scholarship is not intended to be used in conjunction with the Chapter 33 Post - 9/11 GI Bill.

For additional information, visit the ASU Online military and veteran student site or contact your unit's education service officer.
