What is the Time Commitment for Being a Member of an ASU Fraternity or Sorority?

« Go Back
Information
How much time you will have to commit as a member of a fraternity or sorority at ASU varies based on the expectations of each organization. At a minimum, many chapters would expect you to be present for a chapter meeting and one chapter event (e.g. brotherhood/sisterhood, dinner, fundraiser, educational speaker, etc.) each week, or about two-to-three hours a week.

Typically, the more time you commit to your fraternity or sorority, the more you will get out of the experience and the more you will contribute to that chapter.
