Information

All newly admitted freshmen pay a $300 enrollment deposit to ensure a spot in the incoming freshman class. As soon as you have been admitted and have decided to attend Arizona State University, you should submit payment for the enrollment deposit.

Payment of the deposit is the first step in the enrollment process for newly admitted students. The enrollment deposit is required so that you can register for an ASU New Student Orientation program, secure a Sun Devil ID card and reserve University Housing. Once you pay the deposit, you can confirm your housing and dining preferences on your My ASU home page and sign up for an orientation program. The deposit will be credited as a payment toward your first expenses at ASU, which include attending orientation, obtaining a Sun Devil ID card and submitting University Housing and dining confirmations.

Please note: The enrollment deposit is not associated with tuition and related fees, and it will not appear as a credit on your ASU account at a later date.

If you have additional questions, learn more about the enrollment deposit process online or contact the New Student and Family Programs office at 480-965-2880 or by email at orientation@asu.edu.
