ASU begins the internal process of disbursing financial aid to ASU charges eight days before the first day of class each semester. However, financial aid refunds (aid available after ASU charges are paid) will become available to you no sooner than three days before your first day of class each semester.
Disbursement, or payment of aid, is contingent on your completion of your financial aid file and your enrollment for that semester. To ensure timely receipt of your aid refund, be sure to:
- update your address on My ASU under the Profile tab in the Contact Details box
- check your direct deposit enrollment status on My ASU under the Finances tab in the Financing Tasks box
- enroll in all necessary classes
- complete all Priority Tasks and Financing Tasks listed on My ASU
